Will move, stock, scan, secure, and record inventory as needed. Will use hand and power tools, and powered equipment related to the storage or movement of items. Warehouse Associates at some locations will additionally perform custodial and/or detailing tasks.\nEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities:\nDeliver materials and equipment to jobsites.\nMove or re-position trucks as needed upon return to the warehouse.\nWash/clean, shine, and/or detail tractors, trailers, forklifts, and company vehicles.\nSecure the facility and log incoming and outgoing movement of personnel.\nAssist in the construction and assembly of crates and custom storage containers using pneumatic hand tools.\nAdhere to safety practices with respect to self and others.\nHousekeeping and custodial duties for the warehouse include but are not limited to sweeping, empty garbage cans, cleaning bathrooms and break room areas.\nMove machinery/equipment with various-sized forklifts, pallet jacks or other powered equipment as necessary for optimizing safety and organization.\nVerify incoming equipment or items for storage. Offload incoming equipment, inspect for damage, complete all related paperwork or logs.\nRetrieve stored machinery & equipment for loading contract trailers or onto company vehicles.\nTie down, strap and secure loads on company trailers.\nPerform inventory and inventory control functions.\nMaintain equipment/tool inventory in designated areas.\nAssist riggers and field personnel as needed with respect to equipment, tools and other needs.\nComplete all other duties as assigned or requested.\nMinimum Qualifications (Experience, Skills, and Education)\nValid driver’s license with a clean driving record. CDL helpful but not required.\nHS Diploma or equivalent preferred.\nForklift experience preferred.\nGood use of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words; must be able to keep legible records and logs, in English.\nBasic reading and mathematical calculations, including the use of multiplication, division, fractions, or decimals.\nAbility to safely use hand, power, and pneumatic tools, and read tape measure.\nAbility to problem-solve, work independently, and be self-motivated.\nKnowledgeable in equipment operation, including manual transmissions, or pneumatic or hydraulic tools and equipment.\nHave a pleasant and customer-oriented demeanor and ability to build positive work relationships.\nOvertime/weekend work is sometimes required of this position.\nPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions:\nThis is very physical, hands-on work. A Warehouse Worker must be able to perform General Physical Activities - activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling or moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Must have the ability to work off the ground at varying heights and not be affected by moving machinery or parts. Work may vary between indoor, climate-controlled, or normal warehouse environment and non-temperature-controlled environment and/or outdoors in all types of weather, and over uneven ground or terrain.\nAdditional Requirements:\nWork with a Top-of-Mind Awareness for the safety of yourself and everyone at the job site.
