YOUR TASKS
You work in collaboration with the Hotel Manager and Assistant Hotel Manager to ensure the smooth running of the F&B operations (including the Service & Bar departments)
You make sure that all internal and external standards and processes are in place and you are in contact with all F&B suppliers foran optimalcommercial relationship
Youare responsible forthe control of the supply of goods, stockcontroland costs as well as monthly reports (inventories and P&L analysis)
Youare responsible forthe implementation,monitoringand improvement of MEININGER quality standards and ensure compliance with regulations (HACCP, safety, etc.)
You manage the F&B team, recruit together with Hotel Manager, guide and develop the diverse team of around 10 people (Supervisor,employeesand Barman)
You train, coach and mentor your team with an individual approach, aiming for everyone to perform to their full potential
You’reflexible and understand working on all days of the week, sometimes early / sometimes late, during weekends and on public holidays comes with the job
Finally,you’rea great colleague, not afraid to jump in to support other departments now and then
YOUR PROFILE
You have min. 2 years of F&B experience in a hotel/hostel and/or in theHoReCAsector, including experience in a management position.
You act as a role model and enjoy working shifts and together with your team.
You have experience in conducting F&B training and coaching.
You have a keen eye for details, recognize opportunities forimprovementand implement them
You are confident in dealing with numbers, cash registersystemsand cash register closings (knowledge ofAddiposorSihotis an advantage)
You are solution-oriented, show strong commitment and an entrepreneurial mindset
You are convinced of and know the advantages of working in a diverse, multicultural environment. With your open communication, you contribute to the team spirit and support your team in achieving common goals.
You are fluent in English and Spanish (min. B2 level)and any other languages are an advantage.
