Technical Supervisor, Entertainment Technology (Open)POSITION SUMMARY:\nThe Technical Supervisor, Entertainment & Attractions is responsible to ensure day-to-day technical operations of the Lighting, Video and FX, while monitoring and maintaining the systems to ensure un-interrupted and reliable operation.\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nSupervises the day-to-day technical operation of all Entertainment Venues and Attractions in City of Dreams Mediterranean\nAssists to use and develop all System Operating Procedures (SOP) and preventative maintenance program for the areas related to the Department\nCarries out assigned daily operational tasks, liaises with the Entertainment Events and Resort Engineering Team to ensure all systems relevant to show performances and maintain high standard of Technical services in all attractions and/or outlets are always running smoothly\nAssists in the day-to-day management of the Property Services Team including Shift Scheduling based on requirements\nAssists in maintaining accurate records and monitors closely all operating expenses to ensure that the budget is adhered to and costs strictly controlled\nSubmits monthly Utilities Consumption Reports on time with highest accuracy\nEnsures all maintenance requests are performed on time\nGiven the complexity and the risk related with the equipment under the responsibility of the department, ensures that all technical operation and procedures are safe\nHandles all “AVL” related system setup, standby and dismantling of Events\nCoordinates with Housekeeping/Environmental Services department for any follow up cleaning jobs required after completion of each job\nEnsures all tools and equipment are regularly inspected for their correct functions and safe for operational uses\nAssists to ensure that department has a good inventory of spare parts\nEnsures the tidiness and cleanliness of the working bench, workshop areas and storage areas so that a safe and decent workplace is maintained\nFollows up all deficiencies noted during regular inspection and take ownership to carry out necessary works and reports to his/her superiors at first instant for any breakdown that will affect operations\nPersonally, supervises all hazardous work and ensures all safety regulations are being strictly observed by all employees\nMaintains good relationship with Contractors in order to get the best service possible\nAdheres to all company policies and procedures\nReports accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to superiors and relevant departments\nPerforms other reasonable job duties as assigned by superiors from time to time\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nExperience\nA minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in relation to the position\nEducation\nDiploma or Degree in Electrical, Building Services, Mechanical or other rated disciplines.\nHealth and Safety knowledge and background\nSkills\nAbility to operate, troubleshoot and maintain Audio, Lighting and Video equipment\nExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills\nPossesses strong organizational and time management skills\nExcellent command of Greek and English are highly preferred\nGood knowledge of basic computer use (MS Office) is highly preferred\nHand-on and possess good problem-solving skills and attending to details\nIndependent and able to work with minimal supervision\nFrequently/Occasional ascending or descending ladders and/or ramps and ability to work in high rise site\nRequirements:\nAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines\nAbility to work
