Sweep and mop hallways, stairs and offices.\n*2. Empty wastebaskets and dispose the trash in prescribed manner.\n*3. Dust horizontal surfaces.\n*4. Empty and wash ashtrays.\n*5. Clean bathrooms.\nWax and buff floors with prescribed buffers.\n*7. Clean glass and windows.\n*8. Wash walls and other vertical surfaces.\n*9. Sweep and clear snow from outside steps and sidewalks.\n*10. Polish kick panels, doorknobs and other designated fixtures.\nStrip and wax floors.\n*12. Vacuum rugs.\nMix cleaning solutions.\nMaintain issued equipment.\nNotify supervisor when supplies and equipment are needed to perform tasks.\nAll other duties assigned by Custodial Foreman.\n*Essential Functions\nQUALIFICATIONS\nMust have three to six months training or experience, or be capable of learning to perform the essential functions.\nMust be able to pass security clearance for designated contracts.\nMust be able to provide medical proof of a disability\nPHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS\nThe incumbent must be able to stand 80% of the work time, walk 15%, and sit 5%. Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds in order to clean work areas and handle supplies and equipment. Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and handle. All of these requirements are necessary for using ladders and stairs, cleaning low areas, high areas, benches and corners.
