This role requires an individual who can effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.\nThe ideal candidate is computer-savvy, experienced in security operations, and capable of communicating clearly via phone and radio while monitoring and reporting security-related activities.\nKey Responsibilities\nMonitor security systems, including CCTV cameras and alarm systems, in real time\nIdentify, assess, and respond to security incidents and escalate as necessary\nCommunicate clearly and effectively via phone and radio with internal teams and external partners\nDocument and report incidents with accuracy and attention to detail\nMaintain situational awareness across multiple systems simultaneously\nFollow established protocols, procedures, and emergency response guidelines\nProvide timely updates and reports to supervisors and stakeholders\nSupport overall GSOC operations with a high level of professionalism and urgency\nQualifications & Requirements\nExperience:Minimum 4+ years of experience in Security, Law Enforcement, or Corrections (preferred)\n\nTechnical Skills: Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems quickly\nExperience using surveillance cameras and monitoring software preferred\n\nCore Competencies: Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a high-expectation environment\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to speak on the phone and radio while accurately documenting information\nCritical thinking and decision-making abilities\nHigh level of attention to detail and situational awareness\n\nWork Environment\nFast-paced GSOC setting requiring constant monitoring and communication\nHigh-performance expectations with multiple simultaneous responsibilities\nCollaborative team environment focused on safety and security\nPreferred Qualifications\nMilitary experience (eligible for higher starting pay)\nPrior GSOC or security operations center experience\nExperience with incident reporting systems and dispatch tools\nCompensation & Benefits\nCompetitive hourly pay starting at $20+ DOE\n $22+ for candidates with military experience\nOpportunity to work in a professional, high-impact security environment\nSecurity Guard / Securitas Security/ North Houston / TXDPS License # B00100\n“Securitas is committed to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging in the workplace.
