A variety of tasks fall within this classification such as blood collection from patients of all ages, collection of body fluid specimens (i.e. urine) and cultures and other functions within the department under the supervision of a medical technologist.The schedule is variable 8:00am start time and 9:30am start time on weekdays and then every other weekend- evening shift 2:30pm start time\nJob Description:\nThe In-Patient Phlebotomist role Performs venipuncture, capillary and arterial collections (arterial after 1 yr experience) on infants, children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Assist in the reception area with clerical duties.
