MSK is dedicated to training the next generation of scientists and clinicians, who go on to pursue our mission at MSK and around the globe.\nExciting Opportunities at MSK: Senior Project Manager (Internal Consultant)- Transformation Office (TMO)\nWe are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center's Transformation Management Office (TMO). The TMO provides direction, oversight, and coordination of enterprise transformation initiatives that advance MSK's strategic priorities and operational excellence.\nIn this role, you will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that span departments and enterprise functions, partnering closely with executive leadership, operational leaders, and project collaborators to drive successful outcomes. You will serve as a trusted advisor and project leader, applying advanced project management and change management practices to accelerate transformation efforts across the organization.\nRole Overview:\nLead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of complex transformational initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and strategic priorities and when the path is not already defined. \nPartner with executive and operational leaders to define project vision, scope, objectives, success metrics, dependencies, risks, and resource requirements \nDevelop and manage comprehensive project plans, roadmaps, governance structures, timelines, and tracking mechanisms to drive accountability and execution \nProactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, barriers, and issues while developing strategies to maintain momentum and achieve project goals \nFacilitate executive steering committees, governance meetings, working sessions, and stakeholder discussions to support decision-making and alignment \nDrive stakeholder engagement and influence across multiple levels of the organization, fostering collaboration and accountability among diverse teams \nLead the development and delivery of executive-level project reporting, presentations, business cases, and recommendations for senior leadership \nSupport organizational change management activities, including communication planning, stakeholder engagement, adoption strategies, and transition to future-state workflows \nMentor and provide guidance to project managers and team members, promoting project management best practices and continuous improvement \nContribute to the ongoing development and maturation of TMO methodologies, standards, tools, and governance processes \nKey Qualifications:\n7+ years of progressively responsible project/program management, transformation, or consulting experience \nDemonstrated success leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives with significant organizational impact \nExperience partnering with senior leaders and executive stakeholders to drive strategic priorities and organizational change \nStrong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches \nExperience leading change management, process improvement, and transformation initiatives \nProven ability to manage multiple priorities, competing demands, and complex stakeholder environments \nExperience developing executive communications, strategic presentations, and decision-support materials \nPMP or other relevant certifications are a plus \nCore Skills:\nStrategic Problem Solving: Ability to structure ambiguous business problems, synthesize complex information, and translate findings into actionable recommendations. \nDecision Leadership: Ability to frame decisions, articulate tradeoffs and recommendations, and facilitate timely decision-making among senior stakeholders. \nEnterprise Thinking: Ability to understand cross-functional dependencies, competing organizational priorities, resource constraints, and broader enterprise impacts. \nOutcome & Benefits Realization: Ability to define measurable outcomes and KPIs, establish benefits-realization plans, and ensure initiatives deliver intended organizational value. \nExecutive Synthesis and Storytelling: Ability to distill complex information into concise, compelling executive narratives that clearly articulate issues, implications, decisions required, and recommended actions. \nChange Management & Change Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead complex organizational change, assess stakeholder and operational impacts, build alignment and sponsorship, address resistance, and drive adoption of new processes, capabilities, and ways of working to ensure sustainable transformation outcomes \nOrganizational savvy: Demonstrated ability to understand organizational dynamics, build relationships across functions, navigate competing perspectives, and create alignment in complex environments. \nPortfolio and enterprise perspective: Ability to look beyond an individual initiative to understand broader organizational priorities, interdependencies, resource constraints, and enterprise impact. \nData-driven decision making: Ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to assess performance, identify root causes, evaluate alternatives, and inform recommendations. \nCoaching and informal leadership: Ability to lead and develop cross-functional project teams, establish clear roles and accountability, coach less-experienced PMs, and model strong project leadership practices. \nAdditional Information\nSchedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday - Friday \nLocation: Hybrid;
