If you like to make things happen and are passionate about what you do, you’re going to want to be here.\nJoin us and become part of the power behind possible.\nAbout The Opportunity\nEarn $40.57/hour as an Electro-Mechanical Technician.The Electro-Mechanical Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing all machinery and equipment within the facility to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.\nJob Tasks to include:\nEnsures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions\nWorks with production personnel to troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues\nWorks in conjunction with outside contractors and/or vendors as well as OEM’s to troubleshoot and make repairs to plant equipment\nLocates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments\nWires and installs AC/DC motors, drives, racks and motion control equipment\nElectrical trouble shooting using the proper tools and PPE\nControls downtime by performing routine preventive maintenance techniques\nFabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment\nMaintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs\nUses computer system to document work and account for parts\nCommunicates with the team using verbal, written or electronic communication including phone, email, radio, or other\nMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations\nWork Hour Details/Compensation:\nThis is a rotating shift position. It is an 8-hour shift Monday - Friday that rotates weekly between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift\nThis position may be required to work overtime up to 12 hours/day or on Saturdays/Sundays depending on the volume of work and/or special projects\nElectro-Mechanical Associate degree required\n$40.57 per hour\nKnowledge, Skills or Abilities to include:\nAbility to read and understand machine part lists, preventative maintenance manuals, schematics and blueprints\nProficient computer skills including the ability to navigate and perform needed duties on CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)\nAbility to use rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments\nAbility to operate equipment including machines, alignment tools, high lifts, forklifts, boom lifts, scissors lifts, etc.\nKnowledge of AC/DC circuits, motors and drives, PLC, and instrumentation and process controls\nPhysical Requirements:\nLifting up to 75 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 40 lbs.\nAbility to stand and walk for long periods of time\nOccasional climbing, bending, kneeling, squatting, crawling, reaching\nFrequent grasping and hand manipulation\nTwo companies, one vision.\nMenasha Corporation consists of two companies that are leading the way to a sustainable future with packaging and supply chain solutions.
