Ensures adequate levels of material and/or product inventories are maintained. Responsible for evaluating inventory needs and implementing strategies to meet tEssential Job Functions\nThe following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned. \nImplements inventory management strategies to assure company objectives in the areas of safety, productivity, quality, customer service, cost and profitability\nDirects staffing, training, and performance management to develop and improve inventory management function\nManages and tracks product inventories, providing direction on work in process, finished goods and aged inventories to assure financial reconciliation and inventory integrity\nDirects and prioritizes the daily activities including job packet review, cycle counts, audits, damaged material management, and waste tracking and disposal\nDrives continuous improvement initiatives for inventory management process and information flow\nPrepares and reviews required business reports\nEducation & Experience\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred\nMinimum of 4 years of relevant experience required\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nKnowledge of and ability to use and influence organization's policies, standards and procedures guiding manufacturing processes\nKnowledge of strategies and tools for controlling and optimizing the factors that lie between the purchase of raw materials and delivery of finished products\nAbility to effectively manage the business relationship and transactions with the suppliers of raw materials or product components\nKnowledge of issues and considerations for effectively managing local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work in progress and finished goods\nKnowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials throughout the manufacturing cycle\nKnowledge of the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility\nPhysical Requirements & Work Environment\nPrimarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting with time also spent in an office setting\nFrequent walking and standing required\nOccasional travel required\nOccasional lifting up to 25 lbs.\nTwo companies, one vision.\nMenasha Corporation consists of two companies that are leading the way to a sustainable future with packaging and supply chain solutions.
