The person in this position must possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Position may require hours to flex between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift based on need.Pay Rate: $25.82\nHours M-F, 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm\nJob Description\n\nJob Description\nEssential Functions:\nDemonstrate commitment to safety and performs job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures \nFollow Standard Quality Processes \nUnderstand job jacket/shop card information to determine quantity, special work instructions, and any other special customer requirements \nDetermine the best manufacturing method to produce product efficiently and effectively \nMaintain high efficiency according to established rates during operation of the assigned equipment \nTroubleshoot and make decisions regarding the quality of finished product \nComplete required quality inspections and paperwork \nWork with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance \nPlay an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of the assigned equipment and surrounding area \nUnderstand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements \nPerform data entry within the SAP system: consume and print tags, put orders into the system \nMaintain a clean work area \nCross train on other light industrial machines \nEnforce all safety and GMP policies \nPerform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors \nPerformance Measures and Outcomes:\nAdherence to safety policies and procedures \nQuality of work \nProduction goals \nWork Experience: None, Machine Operator Experience desired\nEducation: High School Diploma or Equivalent desired\nAdditional Knowledge Skills, and Abilities:\nSafety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner \nAbility to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business \nAbility to work on a rotating shift as needed \nAbility to effectively work in teams \nAbility to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people \nAbility to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles \nAbility to read a tape measure/ruler \nAbility to read and count \nAbility to read layouts \nGood mathematical skills \nGood organizational skills \nMechanical aptitude \nTrouble shooting skills \nGood judgment of color, design, and printing quality \nAbility to perform all computer functions as they pertain to the job \nTwo companies, one vision.\nMenasha Corporation consists of two companies that are leading the way to a sustainable future with packaging and supply chain solutions.
