Leads a three-shift maintenance team, demonstrating strong leadership and accountability. Manages inventory, parts storage, and the work order system to ensure reliable, cost-effective plant performance. Requires a mechanical and electrical background and a collaborative, team focused approach.Essential Job Functions\nThe following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.\nImplements maintenance and engineering strategies to assure operational reliability consistent with the needs of the operational facility and to ensure the maximum availability and longevity of assets\nAccountable for key Maintenance performance metrics including work order completion and machine reliability\nSupports equipment feasibility studies and makes recommendations for investment; implements capital expenditure project and is accountable for payback expectations\nSupports operations leaders to develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence\nExecutes the annual financial plan and monitors performance within planned budget\nDesigns, develops, and manages capital projects to enhance efficiencies, improve performance, and meet growth plans, including defining the scope of work, budget, schedule and responsibilities\nDevelop and execute site’s preventative maintenance program\nCollaborates with cross-functional leaders to implement capital investment projects to drive operational excellence\nSupports key stakeholders on project design and management, supplier selection and scheduling coordination, new equipment acquisition and installation, materials acquisition, audits and process changes\nAssures compliance with Company’s EAM platform\nAssures all tasks are performed in a safe manner, and comply with all company, local, state, and federal requirements\nProvides guidance on staffing, training, employee relations and performance management to develop and enhance the salaried and hourly production team, working closely with direct reports\nInteracts with key stakeholders to provide technical support and/or resolve equipment reliability issues\nMaintains industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications\nEducation & Experience\nHigh school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree desired\nMinimum of 6 years of relevant experience required\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nKnowledge of methods, accepted practices, considerations and regulatory requirements associated with safety and protection of workers, environment and site\nKnowledge of day-to-day and strategic issues, operational requirements and management of a manufacturing facility\nKnowledge of the physical environment and full spectrum of activities for managing and maintaining physical facilities and infrastructure\nKnowledge of tools and techniques for preventing and addressing theft of assets, theft of information, vandalism, sabotage and other threats to a manufacturing facility\nKnowledge of the electrical, mechanical and logistics equipment used in packaging and manufacturing, including its safe usage, maintenance and storage\nKnowledge of technologies and applications used in manufacturing products and in the optimization of manufacturing processes\nPhysical Requirements & Work Environment\nPrimarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting with time also spent in an office setting\nFrequent walking and standing required\nOccasional travel required\nOccasional lifting up to 25 lbs.\nThe expected salary range for this position is $94,000 - $118,000 annually.
