This role directs and develops the maintenance team while partnering with cross-functional departments to maximize equipment uptime, improve operational efficiency, and support the achievement of safety, quality, cost, production, and delivery objectives. Through effective maintenance planning, continuous improvement, and technical leadership, the Maintenance Supervisor helps ensure the site operates safely, reliably, and efficiently.Responsibilities\nLead and develop the maintenance team, providing direction, training, coaching, and performance feedback.\nDevelop and execute maintenance and reliability programs to maximize equipment uptime, efficiency, and operational performance.\nDrive continuous improvement using best practices such as lean, TPM principles, OEE performance metrics, and equipment reliability initiatives.\nManage preventive and predictive maintenance programs, troubleshooting, repairs, calibrations, and emergency maintenance activities.\nOversee the maintenance and upkeep of all site facilities, buildings, grounds, and infrastructure.\nPartner with Production, Quality, Warehouse, and other departments to support operational goals and equipment performance.\nEnsure equipment, facilities, and maintenance activities comply with all regulatory and company requirements.\nSupport site Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs and promote a strong safety-first culture and environmental compliance.\nConduct inspections, audits, risk assessments, and corrective actions to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.\nMaintain accurate maintenance, equipment, compliance, performance records and reporting.\nManage maintenance inventories, spare parts, and departmental budgets to support operational needs and cost objectives.\nServe as the site's technical resource for equipment, facilities, maintenance systems, and regulatory compliance matters.\nDevelop and maintain maintenance procedures, work instructions, standards, and training materials.\nFoster positive working relationships with employees, contractors, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nEducation/Experience\nHigh school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.\nMinimum 5 years of maintenance leadership experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.\nQualifications\nStrong knowledge of industrial maintenance systems, equipment reliability, and building/facility maintenance.\nAbility to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and direct maintenance activities for a wide range of industrial equipment.\nProficient in reading and interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.\nExperience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives preferred.\nWorking knowledge of applicable safety, environmental, and building code requirements.\nProficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance management or ERP systems (SAP experience preferred).\nStrong leadership, communication, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and lead changes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nAbility to obtain and maintain any required licenses or certifications.\nAbility to work throughout a multi-level manufacturing facility, including frequent walking and stair climbing.\nAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.\nPhysical Requirements\nFrequent presence on the manufacturing floor is required; the manufacturing floor is not climate controlled.\nWhile performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands to type, write and or manage tools and equipment.\nThe position requires standing and walking for extended periods that may exceed 10 hours with irregular and or limited breaks. Occasionally the employee is required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach with hands and arms (example: climbing stairs or ladders, reaching at, above, and or below shoulder height).
