This position will follow through with all Preventive Maintenance on automation and equipment, as well as troubleshoot and solve most automation or equipment problems that may affect safety, quality or production. He/she will work with outside contractors, vendors for maintaining equipment and needed inventories, and will continuously work to improve themselves, who will be working toward a two year degree in industrial maintenance. This position will communicate with the Maintenance Manager and responsible personnel on any and all activities that affect Safety, Quality or Production.Essential Job Functions\nThe following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.\nSupports facility maintenance to assure operational reliability consistent with the needs of the operational facility and to ensure the maximum availability and longevity of assets \nTroubleshoots and repairs operating equipment \nSupports operations leaders to develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence \nSupports and executes capital projects to enhance efficiencies, improve performance, and meet growth plans, including defining the scope of work, budget, schedule and responsibilities \nAssures compliance with Company’s EAM platform \nSupports key stakeholders on project design and management, supplier selection and scheduling coordination, new equipment acquisition and installation, materials acquisition, audits and process changes \nDevelops and execute site’s preventative maintenance program \nManages maintenance parts inventory including procurement \nAssures all tasks are performed in a safe manner, and comply with all company, local, state, and federal requirements \nInteracts with key stakeholders to provide technical support and/or resolve equipment reliability issues \nProvides guidance on staffing, training, employee relations and performance management to develop and enhance the salaried and/or hourly team, working closely with direct reports \nMaintains industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications\nEducation & Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nMinimum of 6 years of relevant experience required\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nTechnical background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic, processing, blue prints\nKnowledge of lockout tag out, all safety related issues while working on or around plant/production equipment\nKnowledge of communicative properties in all areas of plant operations\nKnowledge of formula's, theories and measurements\nKnowledge of ANSI and QS9000 regulations\nAble to use technical equipment and tools to trouble shoot many problems associated with plant equipment\nComputer literate\nSkills in work priorities\nSome understanding of drawings and or procedures that have to do with maintaining equipment/ building side of plant operations\nMust possess the ability to read, write, and speak English\nPhysical Requirements & Work Environment\nPrimarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting with time also spent in an office setting\nFrequent walking and standing required\nOccasional travel required\nOccasional lifting up to 25 lbs.\nThe expected salary range for this position is $62,000-73,000 annually.
