If you like to make things happen and are passionate about what you do, you’re going to want to be here.\nJoin us and become part of the power behind possible.\nAbout The Opportunity\nThe Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for effectively and efficiently maintaining, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment, as well as performing preventive maintenance following corporate standards for quality and safety.This is a Second Shift position with a standard shift schedule of Monday - Friday, 3:30pm - 12:30am. This position is eligible for overtime.\nEssential Job Functions\nThe following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.\nDemonstrates commitment to quality and performs job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines\nEnsures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements of all equipment\nTroubleshoots any issues of mechanical devices, corrects issues as necessary to maintain productivity/quality standards\nControls downtime by communicating with all departments\nAssists in the setup and tear down of production lines\nPerforms electrical repairs\nActively involved in Continuous Improvement programs\nDetermines changes in dimensional requirements of parts, fabricate parts when needed, adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments\nMaintains equipment, parts and supplies inventories; conserves resources when able\nInstructs less qualified personnel\nIdentifies proper preventative maintenance schedules\nPrepares maintenance reports, documents and communicates actions, irregularities and continuing needs\nWorks in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, and complies with company safety policies and procedures\nPerforms other duties as assigned by management/supervisors\nEducation & Experience\nExperience with Automation Industrial Equipment; Belt Conveyors, Roller Conveyors, Carton Sealers.\nBasic Electrical Knowledge Low Voltage-120VAC\nPreferred experience Hands-on Texwrap Plastic Sealer Machine\nPreferred experience Hands-on Videojet Ink Coder\nPreferred experience Hands-on Microjet-I and II Ink Code\nCarton, High Speed packaging equipment\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nSafety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner\nAbility to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business\nAbility to effectively work in teams\nAbility to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people\nAbility to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles\nMust have basic math, reading, and communication skills\nAbility to read, comprehend and, where necessary, complete: a blueprint, an electrical schematic, operating and maintenance manuals, a work order, repair parts request, standard and metric tape measure\nMechanical and Electrical Skills\nElectrical Knowledge High Voltage (208/480V 3 PH) a Plus\nAdapt to work under pressure\nAdapt to fast change over\nAbility to work OT when required is a MUST\nAdapt to schedule changes\nMust be able to work weekends and extended hours when necessary\nPLC Knowledge and troubleshooting skills\nTechnically competent with reading electrical and mechanical drawings\nPhysical Requirements & Work Environment\nMust be able to stand, bend, stoop, walk for prolonged periods\nMust be able to use hands, fingers, and arms in a continuous manner\nMust be able to frequently lift 50-75 lbs.\nTwo companies, one vision.\nMenasha Corporation consists of two companies that are leading the way to a sustainable future with packaging and supply chain solutions.
