Monitors operations for efficiency and safety, ensuring that all applicable regulatory requirements are met/followed. Develops production schedules to meet internal goals as well as expectations of customers. Oversees production staff, including hiring/training of personnel.Key Duties And Responsibilities\nEstablishes operational strategies to assure company objectives in the areas of safety, productivity, quality, customer service, sales, human capital, cost and profitability\nAccountable for assigned site’s key performance metrics including machine and labor efficiencies and provides guidance to departmental leaders to ensure scorecard objectives are met\nProactively monitors site capacity and collaborates with other sites on scheduling optimization to meet internal and external customer on-time-delivery demands\nConducts equipment feasibility studies and makes recommendations for investment; works with Finance to prepare capital expenditure plan and is accountable for payback expectations\nCollaborates with cross-functional leaders to set continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence\nPrepares and manages the annual financial plan and monitors performance through forecasting and/or other company reports\nEnsures the overall maintenance and security of facilities, grounds, utilities and equipment\nProvides guidance on staffing, training, employee relations and performance management to develop and enhance the Operations function, working closely with direct reports\nInteracts with key stakeholders to provide technical support, explore new business opportunities, and/or resolve order problems or complaints\nMaintains industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor’s degree required\nMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience required \nKnowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired\nKnowledge of methods, accepted practices, considerations and regulatory requirements associated with safety and protection of workers, environment and site\nKnowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials throughout the manufacturing cycle\nKnowledge of day-to-day and strategic issues, operational requirements and management of a manufacturing facility\nKnowledge of the existing and planned approaches and methods for manufacturing products or product components\nKnowledge of and ability to use and influence organization's policies, standards and procedures guiding manufacturing processes\nAbility to lead people and get results through others\nAbility to think ahead and plan over a specific time span\nAbility to establish high performance teams and a strong team player\nPhysical Requirements & Work Environment\nPrimarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting with time also spent in an office setting\nFrequent walking and standing required\nOccasional travel required\nOccasional lifting up to 25 lbs.\nTwo companies, one vision.\nMenasha Corporation consists of two companies that are leading the way to a sustainable future with packaging and supply chain solutions.
