Partners with customers, sales, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to create innovative, cost-effective packaging and merchandising solutions that meet customer objectives while optimizing manufacturing efficiency, product performance, and quality.Project Management & Customer SupportLead packaging and display development projects from initial concept through production implementation.\nManage project timelines, deliverables, and communication across internal and external stakeholders.\nCoordinate activities among Sales, Design, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Customer Service teams to ensure successful project execution.\nMonitor project status and proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact timing, cost, quality, or customer expectations.\nProvide customers with project updates and ensure timely completion of project milestones.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and project outcomes.\n\nStructural Design & DevelopmentCreate detailed structural packaging and display designs utilizing ArtiosCAD, Adobe Illustrator, and related design software.\nDevelop packaging and display solutions that optimize material utilization, manufacturing efficiency, structural integrity, functionality, and cost-effectiveness.\nEnsure designs comply with manufacturing capabilities, quality standards, testing requirements, and customer specifications.\nDesign and develop prototypes, samples, mockups, and production concepts for customer presentations and internal evaluation.\nEvaluate existing packaging and display solutions and recommend design improvements that enhance performance, manufacturability, sustainability, and value.\nConduct design modifications based on customer feedback, testing results, and manufacturing requirements.\nSupport package testing, design validation, and production qualification activities as needed.\n\nCustomer EngagementParticipate in customer meetings to understand packaging requirements, identify opportunities, and develop customized solutions.\nPresent design concepts, prototypes, and recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders.\nServe as a technical resource regarding packaging structure, display design, product performance, and manufacturing feasibility.\nCollaborate with customers to balance branding, merchandising objectives, functionality, sustainability, and cost considerations.\n\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Design, Engineering, Graphic Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.\nMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in structural packaging design, display design, drafting, packaging engineering, project management, or a related field.\nExperience designing corrugated packaging, retail displays, point-of-purchase (POP) displays, or other merchandising solutions.\nExperience using ArtiosCAD, Adobe Illustrator, and related packaging design software.\nExperience working within a manufacturing environment preferred.\nExperience managing customer projects and cross-functional teams preferred.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nStrong understanding of structural packaging and display design principles.\nKnowledge of corrugated packaging, paperboard products, packaging materials, and display construction methods.\nProficiency with ArtiosCAD, Adobe Illustrator, and related design software.\nFamiliarity with packaging manufacturing processes, production capabilities, testing procedures, and quality requirements.\nAbility to analyze customer requirements and develop practical, manufacturable solutions.\nCreative mindset with the ability to develop innovative packaging and point-of-purchase display solutions.\nStrong project management, organization, and prioritization skills.\nExcellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nAbility to work collaboratively with customers, sales teams, manufacturing personnel, and other cross-functional partners.\nTwo companies, one vision.\nMenasha Corporation consists of two companies that are leading the way to a sustainable future with packaging and supply chain solutions.
