You will provide support to school-wide initiatives in special education and drive change by working with staff and students to improve academic and behavioral achievement. In addition, you will provide direct educational and social services to students, as well as work with parents, educators, and other professionals to create supportive academic and social environments LSW through IDFPR\nLCSW through IDFPR\nLCPC through IDFPR\nLPC through IDFPR\nISBE PEL School Social Worker\nResponsibilities\nAttend meetings in-person in the Chicagoland area, as needed\nApproximately 80% work responsibilities are virtual/remote and 20% work responsibilities are in-person\nLead day-to-day operational initiatives within a small special education school program\nSupport school-wide initiatives in special education\nDrive change by working alongside staff and students to improve academic and behavioral achievement and support the overall learning environment\nAssist in Leading the school by building high-performing teams and responsibly managing work and people while enlisting others in the school's vision\nEmploy data-based decision-making regarding multidisciplinary collaboration, functional behavior assessments and behavioral approaches\nBuild leadership to help students succeed effectively\nDevelop positive behavioral and academic interventions\nMonitor student progress and evaluations, program evaluations, and consult with educational staff, parents, and other professionals\nWork remotely while logged-in during the entirety of your shift\nEnsure all IEPs are entered into the district systems \nReview all clinical documentation in students IEP’s \nSupervises the day-to-day operations of all clinical staff members \nEnsures all clinical minutes are being met \nInputs related services into MSIS for all disciples \nRun all IEP meetings \nQualifications\nOnlyOne (1) of following Licenses/Certifications is required: Certified School Social Worker (IL PEL Certificate), IL MSW with LSW, IL LCSW, IL LCPC, IL LPC\nStrong leadership and interpersonal skills\nStrong consultative and data analysis abilities\nCreative thinker who can develop a wide range of interventions meeting the needs of a diverse student population\nBilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required\nExcellent
