With offices in Caguas, PR, Boston, MA & San Francisco, CA and we serve life sciences clients in six global markets: United States, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Germany, Canada, and South America. \nResponsibilities:\nPerforms all functions listed below with minimum or no supervision.\nDetermine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment and skill of personnel.\nMonitor work areas and examine tools and equipment in order to detect unsafe conditions or violations of procedures or safety rules.\nMonitor employees' work levels and review work performance.\nCounsel employees about work-related issues and assist employees to correct job-skill deficiencies.\nRequisition materials and supplies, such as tools, equipment, and replacement parts.\nInterpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to construct templates and lay out reference points for workers.\nConduct or arrange for workers training in safety, repair, and maintenance techniques, operational procedures, or equipment use.\nEnsure the recordkeeping of documentation of client’s utilities equipment operations parameters are met.\nEnsure that the utilities equipment have the necessary operating procedures according to the manufacturer's operation manual and/or recommendations.\nProvide technical support and advice to assure that operational activities are performed in compliance with corporate/government policies and regulations in a cost-effective way and within the timelines established by the customer.\nExhibit a customer-oriented behavior, by clearly understanding customers’ needs and expectations, and anticipating possible barriers or obstacles that may impact the project(s) adversely and communicating these on a timely manner.\nAll documentation must be free of errors, controlled and well-organized.\nManage technical issues/problems appropriately and efficiently.\nGuarantee top quality of services provided to client by reviewing work performed, documentation submitted, get hold of client feedback and monitoring project status vs. client requirements.\nIssue Performance Review Report to employees under his/her supervision.\nCreate/develop customer relations and new business opportunities.\nPromote excellent relationship with Mentor clients, encouraging an open dialog and trustful communication between both parties demonstrating a professional conduct at all times and proudly represent MTG at all levels and places.\nAlerts management when problems are identified and make recommendations for improvements.\nMust be a team player committed to developing and working in a quality environment.\nComplies with MENTOR’s administrative requirements timely and consistently in areas such as: weekly reports, updating of CV’s, yearly updates of medical/training records, attendance to work, etc.\nAttend Project Leaders/Managers meeting, as part of job position strategic commitments, and follow-up on action items discussed.\nOther duties as assigned by manager, upper management or by the client.\nQualifications Requirements/Knowledge/Education/Skills:\nAssociate degree in engineering, Electronics, Mechanic, Refrigeration and 7 to 12 years of related experience\nBachelor’s Degree Engineering, Science or related fields preferred. 5 to 10 years of related experience\nExperience in GMP regulated manufacturing environment and supervisory role. \nPhysical Requirements and Working Environment:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate equipment's, tools, or controls. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, talk, or hear; sit; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and smell. The employee may lift and/or move up to 25-35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.\nHe / she may frequently work inside weather conditions, near moving mechanical parts, exposed to wet and or humid conditions, and an odorous atmosphere, may be exposed to fumes and the risk of electrical shock, and occasionally work on ladders in high places, in small spaces, such as lift/metering stations, manholes, tanks and wet wells.
