Your expertise will help turn massive amounts of healthcare data into clear, actionable strategies that drive better outcomes and smarter decisions.\nHow you will contribute:\nLearn and understand Truven's products, business model, strategy, culture, etc. to develop a deep understanding of the business and support its revenue goals through contracting activities.\nInitiate, review, redline, and efficiently negotiate a broad range of transactional contracts including data agreements, SaaS agreements, master agreements, SOWs, BAAs, trial agreements, NDAs, teaming agreements, independent contractor agreements, and vendor agreements.\nSupport Truven by efficiently managing standard and complex contracts.\nDrive competitive bid efforts through the evaluation of RFIs and RFPs, identification of issues and provision of subject matter expertise bid response.\nAnalyze contract terms and conditions, evaluate prior terms, determine the need for amendments or renewals, and negotiate revisions within guidelines using contract playbooks.\nCoordinate contract review and collaborate with internal SMEs and functional leads (in house counsel, sales, compliance, finance/accounting, information security, etc.) to provide guidance on contract terms and risks.\nDevelop strong business relationships with key internal stakeholders including Truven leadership, and external parties such as customers and suppliers.\nAssist with managing playbooks, templates, processes and clause libraries to optimize enterprise contracting processes.\nWork with existing contract management systems and identify, implement and support improvements and new technologies.\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as needed.\nWhat you will bring:\nBachelor's Degree plus 10 years of experience drafting, negotiating and consulting on contracts.\nExperience in working with data privacy issues and agreements.\nExperience in healthcare technology, technology software & services or healthcare.\nExcellent drafting and negotiation skills and demonstrated ability to close complex transactions.\nPractical, business-driven problem solver with proven ability to manage competing priorities.\nExceptionally detail oriented, with a sense of urgency and high-quality work with minimal supervision.\nUnwavering commitment to customer service for internal and external clients.\nExceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.\nAdvanced skills with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; experience with CRM and CLM tools.\nWhat we would love to see:\nExperience working in Salesforce, Docusign or similar tools\nExperience providing training or education to internal clients\nExperience in driving organizational change and improvements\nExperience with government contracts and procurement processes\nWhat We Offer:\nA team connected by a bigger purpose - mission-driven, transforming healthcare through trusted analytics\nA culture rooted in collaboration and kindness - mutual respect and genuine teamwork\nA place to build and grow your career - learning never stops, every challenge is a chance to grow\nA total rewards package that reflects our values - competitive benefits, annual bonus, PTO, remote flexibility and more\nCompensation\nThe salary range provided in this job posting is intended to reflect the general market value for the position.
