This position requires a proactive mindset, strong technical\nbackground, solid data analysis and business analysis skills.. The Cloud Data Engineer supports core\napplications such as Contract Management, Tax, and Accounting.\nKey job responsibilities include:\nUnderstanding the data layout of the contract management and tax systems, and build data solutions to support business requirements\nWrite and execute scripts to extract data from internal databases for validations, analysis, and other system integrations\nPartner with business and other tech teams to translate business needs to design and develop dashboards and reports\nBuild APIs to support integrations\nDrive analysis that provides meaningful insights on business strategies\nSupport teams in data migration activities, building AI and automation capabilities.\nHave working knowledge of Azure cloud, and is capable of building solutions using data from multiple clouds.\nExperience in Java, PostgreSQL, and Python is highly recommended.\nOccasionally, build data infrastructure to support new application upgrades.\nThe Cloud data engineer is required to maintain a productive working relationship with business and other IT applications. Position will require supporting Internal Control System (Sarbanes-Oxley) processes and documentation.\nResponsibilities:\nPerform Production Support: Promptly address customer issues/tickets; Address system\nissues by performing root cause analysis and eliminating repeat problems (25%)\nAct as a Data Analyst for the application. Understand the functional aspects, business\nprocesses, interfaces, screens, business flow and data of the multiple systems. (20%)\nConduct data analysis, build reports, build APIs to support integrations, support data\nmigrations, build AI and automation capabilities (20%)\nPlan/Communicate: Develop plans and time estimates; Track progress to plans; Communicate\nstatus, issues and risks to manager on a timely basis. Develop strong and productive\nrelationships with business partners, colleagues and management.
