Strive for continuous improvement either from release process perspective or from cost saving (e.g. new material or new material supplier).\n Qualifikationen\n Education:\nUniversity degree in material sciences or related engineering majors, with background in metallic material or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred.\n\nExperience:\nWorking experience international, cross functional teams. At least 3 years’ working experience in automotive industry.\n\nWorking experience in material areas such as polymer material, surface material, etc.\n\nSpecific Knowledge:\nProfound knowledge of material engineering e.g., polymer material, surface material etc.\n\nGood understanding of material qualification for the application in vehicle, familiar with material testing methods.\n\nIntercultural competence and communication skills with cross function departments, joint venture partners and global headquarters.\n\nHigh commitment for premium vehicles of Mercedes-Benz and quality.\n\nSelf-responsible working attitude and initiative.\n\nOpen mind and strong learning skills for new technologies.\n\nGood skills in work planning, problem solving and reporting.\n\nWillingness to travel domestically and abroad.\n\nComputer skills are mandatory.
