The role requires practical Android development skills, an understanding of end-to-end application flows, and hands-on exposure to Generative AI. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional and global teams and contribute across development, testing, documentation, and delivery.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain Android applications for Automotive Infotainment system using Kotlin. \nBuild clean, responsive, reliable, and user-friendly application features. \nIntegrate APIs and Generative AI capabilities into Android application experiences. \nContribute to AI-based and AI-agent use cases where relevant. \nUnderstand application architecture, interfaces, data flow, and end-to-end behavior. \nTake ownership of features from design and development through testing and release support. \nCollaborate with product, UX, quality, architecture, and other engineering teams. \nCreate clear technical documentation and presentation material for stakeholder discussions. \nMandatory Skills:\nHands-on experience in Android application development. \nAny Object oriented language like Java and having Exposure or willingness to learn Kotlin/Android is also welcome.\nGood knowledge of Kotlin and Android development fundamentals. \nUnderstanding of Android application architecture, lifecycle, UI development, API integration, testing, and debugging. \nAround 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies or AI-enabled application features. \nGood understanding of enterprise architecture and end-to-end application flows. \nGood written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset. \nPreferred Skills:\nExperience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android development practices. \nExperience integrating REST APIs and working with asynchronous programming. \nExperience or interest in AI agents and agent-based application workflows. \n· Knowledge of prompt engineering, responsible AI, and evaluation of AI-generated outputs.\n· Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, unit testing, and application quality practices.\n Qualifikationen\n Education\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, or related field.\nDesired Competencies:\nOwnership and accountability. \nAbility to communicate technical topics clearly. \nCollaboration across multicultural and global teams. \nContinuous learning mindset, particularly in Android and Generative AI. \nNice to Have:\nExperience in automotive, infotainment, connected systems, or digital mobility products. \nExperience contributing to proof-of-concepts or innovation initiatives. \nWhy Join Us?\nBe part of a purpose-driven organization that’s shaping the future of mobility.
