Management and Performance\nManage and monitor a portfolio of client facilities to ensure strong financial performance and asset quality.\nTrack client exposures, repayment behaviour, and overall portfolio health.\nEnsure portfolio performance aligns with Merchant West risk and profitability targets.\nClient Relationship Management\nMaintain strong relationships with clients to ensure ongoing service delivery and satisfaction.\nEngage with clients to understand business needs and identify additional opportunities.\nResolve client queries and manage relationship issues in a timely manner.\nPortfolio Risk Monitoring\nMonitor client financial performance and identify potential credit risks.\nEnsure compliance with approved credit terms, covenants, and facility conditions.\nEscalate risk concerns and recommend corrective actions where required.\nDeal Support and Portfolio Growth\nSupport business units with deal structuring and execution within the portfolio.\nAssess financial impact of restructuring or additional funding requests.\nIdentify opportunities to grow and optimise the portfolio.\nReporting and Portfolio Administration\nPrepare and maintain accurate portfolio reports and documentation.\nEnsure all client records and portfolio data are up to date and compliant.\nProvide regular updates on portfolio performance to management.\nCredit Governance and Compliance\nEnsure adherence to credit policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.\nMaintain proper documentation and audit trails for portfolio activities.\nSupport audit and compliance processes related to portfolio management.\n\nQualifications:\nBCom degree with Finance and/or Mathematics, Accounting as a subject(s)\n\nExperience:\n4+ years’ experience in a client facing role with a financial background/ solution selling\nRelationships and client/ dealer base within the sector\n\nSkills:\nPortfolio management and performance monitoring\nFinancial statement analysis and credit risk evaluation\nDeal structuring and transaction assessment\nClient relationship and stakeholder management\nPortfolio reporting and financial
