Few sellers can see what it does to their margin once fees, discounts and ad costs are taken out. So they grow sales and still wonder where the money went.\nMerchantee is the seller's profit agent for European marketplaces. We are building it in three steps:\nKnow the real margin of every offer, from the seller's own costs.\n\nChoose the lever that earns the most: a price change, a promotion or ads.\n\nAct on it safely, within limits the seller approves, and prove what it earned.\n\nMarketplaces optimise their turnover. Merchantee optimises the seller's profit.\nToday Merchantee already sets prices, runs promotions and manages ads for houndrets sellers across European countries and Germany is next, and this role opens it.\nWhy this role exists\n\nGermany is one of Europe's largest e-commerce markets. Its sellers face the question Merchantee answers every day: how to grow on marketplaces without giving the margin away in fees, discounts and ad spend across markets. Many of them already sell on several European marketplaces, or are about to. That is where margin gets hardest to see and where our product helps most.\nThis is the first commercial role in Germany. There is no team or playbook to take over. You will find our first German customers, turn them into design partners and help shape how Merchantee enters the market. The product, the website and the sales story for Germany will be built on what you learn. If it works, you build the team that follows.\n\nYou will work closely with the sales team by generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and following up on inbound leads. Your primary objective is to understand prospect needs, introduce Merchantee's value proposition, and schedule qualified meetings and product demonstrations.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in PaaS/SaaS sales and gain experience in one of the fastest-growing areas of e-commerce.\nSuccess is measured clearly through:\nNumber of qualified opportunities generated\n\nMeetings and product demos booked\n\nQuality and growth of the sales pipeline\n\nConversion of leads into sales opportunities/deals\n\nWhat You Will Do\nIdentify and research potential customers within the German e-commerce market.\n\nConduct outbound prospecting through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels.\n\nFollow up with inbound leads and qualify their business needs.\n\nSchedule meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team.\n\nMaintain accurate CRM records and activity tracking.\n\nCollaborate closely with Business Developers and Customer Success teams.\n\nGather market intelligence and customer feedback to help improve our sales approach.\n\nConsistently achieve activity and pipeline generation targets.\n\nWho We Are Looking For\nMust-have:\nExperience in sales, business development, lead generation, customer service, e-commerce is a great advantage.\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nA proactive and goal-oriented mindset.\n\nAbility to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.\n\nGood organizational skills and attention to detail.\n\nProfessional working proficiency in both German and English.\n\nNice to Have:\nInterest in e-commerce, marketplaces, or SaaS solutions.\n\nExperience using CRM systems.\n\nFamiliarity with outbound sales techniques and prospecting tools.\n\nData-driven
