You will work across statutory reporting, taxation, audit and data analytics. You will have scope to strengthen controls and improve the way finance processes operate through simplification and automation.\nWhat You Will Do\nResponsibilities include, however not limited to:\nPrepare calculations, reconciliations, workpapers and source documentation for Australia and New Zealand income tax, Fringe Benefits Tax, GST, withholding tax and transfer pricing activities.\nPrepare statutory financial statements and supporting schedules, coordinate external audit requests, and help maintain clear, complete and timely supporting evidence.\nCoordinate and oversee selected fixed asset and intercompany activities.\nPerform routine and ad hoc control procedures, coordinate updates to control documentation, and use trend and outlier analysis to identify unusual transactions, data-quality issues and potential control exceptions.\nWork with Tax, Finance, commercial teams, shared services and other supporting functions to improve compliance, resolve issues and strengthen ownership of finance activities.\nIdentify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate recurring finance processes while maintaining an effective control environment.\nWhat You Must Have\nA bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, with a CA, CPA or equivalent qualification completed or in progress.\nRelevant financial accounting experience in a complex or multinational organisation; experience in a regulated industry is advantageous.\nSound knowledge of financial reporting principles, month-end close processes, balance sheet controls and statutory reporting requirements.\nExperience with SAP or a comparable ERP system is highly regarded, along with strong Excel capability.\nExposure to Power Query, Power BI, workflow tools or finance automation is desirable.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to interpret financial information and communicate practical conclusions.\nHigh attention to detail and a disciplined approach to documentation, controls and data integrity.\nAbility to prioritise competing demands, meet deadlines and operate effectively during peak reporting periods.\nStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functional and geographically dispersed teams.\nA proactive, adaptable and self-motivated mindset with a continuous-improvement focus.\nWhat You Can Expect\nWork autonomously whilst being supported, encouraged and being part of a trusted global leading animal health organisation\nExposure to upskill and develop in your role\nFlexibility and opening doors to other opportunities and skillsets\nJoining a collaborative team of like-minded individuals\nThe opportunity to contribute to a role with genuine visibility and business impact\nThe chance to help modernise finance processes through simplification, standardisation and automation\nWe are proud to be a company that embraces the value of bringing talented and committed people together.
