We are looking for a professional who shares these values and is committed to delivering high-quality results.\nKey Responsibilities\nFinancial Closing and Reporting\nParticipate in and support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.\nPerform analytical reviews of financial results, balance sheet accounts, and trial balances to identify trends, variances, and potential accounting issues.\nStatutory Financial Statements and External Audit\nPrepare annual statutory financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.\nCoordinate and collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and periodic reviews.\nTax Compliance and Reporting\nPrepare and support the submission of local tax returns and other tax-related filings.\nWork closely with external tax advisors on direct and indirect tax matters, including corporate income tax, VAT, and other statutory requirements.\nTransfer Pricing\nSupport the implementation and maintenance of transfer pricing policies and studies.\nCoordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure compliance with local and international transfer pricing requirements.\nInternal Controls and Compliance\nAssist in the design, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls and compliance processes.\nEvaluate existing financial processes and identify opportunities for increased efficiency, standardization, and control effectiveness.\nSupport internal audits and remediation of identified control deficiencies.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nWork closely with local and regional finance teams on accounting, tax, compliance, and reporting matters.\nSupport finance transformation and process improvement initiatives.\nParticipate in ad hoc projects and analyses as required.\nQualifications\nRequired\nCertified Public Accountant (CPA).\nMinimum 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience following internship, preferably in a multinational environment.\nStrong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills in English.\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.\nPreferred\nBackground in a Big Four accounting firm.\nExperience in the high-tech industry.\nExperience working in a multinational environment.\nHands-on experience with SAP.\nRequired Skills:\nAccounting Principles, Balance Sheet Accounting, Corporate Experience, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Data Management, Detail-Oriented, Financial Accounting, Financial Accounting Controls, Financial Analysis, Financial Reports, Internal Controls, SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Statutory Requirements, Tax Compliance, Transfer PricingPreferred Skills:\nCurrent Employees apply HERE\nCurrent Contingent Workers apply HERE\nSearch Firm Representatives Please Read Carefully\nMerck & Co., Inc., Rahway, NJ, USA, also known as Merck Sharp & Dohme LLC, Rahway, NJ, USA, does not accept unsolicited assistance from search firms for employment opportunities.
