Together, we must leverage the strength of our team to collaborate globally to optimize connections and share best practices across the Tech Centers.\nRole Overview:\nWe are seeking a Specialist Platform Engineer - BPM Platforms (Grafana/Appian) to join our HAI Platform Operations group within the Digital Platform Services group under the Global Technology Organization.\nAs the Specialist, Appian/Grafana Platform Operations (R2), you will deliver dedicated, hands-on operational support for our enterprise Appian platform, with a focus on monitoring ensuring high performance, stability, and data reliability across the organization. You will take the lead on critical configuration and deployment activities within both the Appian and Celonis Process Modeling (CPM) environments, ensuring seamless operation. Operating with significant day-to-day autonomy under broad supervision, you will also expand your technical scope by providing valuable back-up support for our enterprise Celonis platform. You will collaborate closely with Appian and Celonis engineering and Appian application teams, to troubleshoot complex issues, and maintain robust, high-performing platform capabilities that drive digital efficiency.\nWhat will you do in this role\nProvide hands on operational support for monitoring Appian and Celonis platforms.\nProvide Grafana Engineering and Configuration support from Appian and Celonis platforms.\nProvide backup support for Appian and Celonis platforms.\nCollaborate closely with monitoring teams.\nTransform raw operational, telemetry, and business process data into actionable, high-performance visual dashboards and proactive alerting workflows using Grafana.\nBuild and standardize an automated framework using Nobl9 to measure real-world user experience, protect error budgets, and automate reliability alerts.\nProvide secondary operational support to maintain high availability performance, and rapid incident remediation across Appian Cloud and Celonis environments (Dev, Test, Stage, Prod).\nCollaborating closely with technology partners (e.g., Appian, Celonis, AWS) to manage licensing, roadmaps, and support escalation paths.\nDrive global operational excellence collaborating with cross-functional technical teams including; Product, Platform Engineering, Application Operations and Infrastructure groups.\nundefined\nWhat Should you have:\nBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.\nHands on practical experience with Grafana and Nobl9.\nFamiliarity with Appian platform and Celonis CPM or Symbio administration.\nPractical experience with public cloud platforms, Preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS), including Networking, Compute, storage and Security.\nFamiliarity with Python scripting language.\nPrimary Skills:\nGrafana and Python\nSecondary Skills:\nAWS, Appian and Celonis\nPreferred:\nExperience working in highly regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, pharmaceutical GxP, financial services SOX) is a plus.\nAt least 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Grafana.\nAppian Administration certification or 3 years Appian administration experience.\nExperience with Celonis Cloud platform (EMS/CPM).\nFamiliarity with broader monitoring tools, such as Dynatrace, Grafana, CloudWatch, or similar monitoring/logging solutions\nThis role represents an exceptional opportunity to lead and influence the future of BPM platforms within our organization.
