Candidates are expected to reside within a commuting distance of the Hyderabad office.\nRole Overview:\nThe Specialist, Data Stewardship role plays a pivotal part in the creation, maintenance, accuracy, and compliant execution of master data supporting our company Manufacturing and Supply Chain operations, directly supporting business outcomes and ultimately impacting patients who rely on life-saving products.\nThis is a global role supporting Manufacturing and Supply Chain master data processes. The Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely execution of master data creation, extension, update, and maintenance requests. The role works closely with Data Steward Leads, ISO Stewards, Supply Chain stakeholders, and other relevant partners to ensure master data is established and maintained in accordance with global SOPs, work instructions, data standards, and business requirements.\nWhat will you do in this role\nMaster Data Creation and Maintenance\nExecute master data creation, extension, update, and maintenance activities supporting Manufacturing and Supply Chain processes.\nPerform first-time material code creation, changes, and extensions, including required pre-checks and validation activities.\nEvaluate the appropriate parameters and data sets required to execute compliant and error-free master data changes within SAP ECC and SAP S/4.\nEnsure required information, prerequisites, documentation, and approvals are available before executing master data changes.\nExecute activities in accordance with global SOPs, work instructions, data standards, and established controls.\nMaintain complete and accurate evidence and documentation for all master data changes performed.\nData Stewardship and Business Understanding\nUnderstand divisional requirements, business guidelines, and dependencies between master data elements and downstream processes.\nWork closely with Data Steward Leads, ISO Stewards, Supply Chain stakeholders, and other relevant teams to clarify requirements and ensure consistent execution.\nIdentify incomplete, conflicting, or unclear requests and proactively engage or escalate to the appropriate stakeholder.\nApply master data standards consistently across supported processes, locations, and business areas.\nMaintain a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, accountability, and timely execution.\nData Accuracy and Continuous Improvement\nPerform proactive data accuracy checks and analysis to identify incorrect, incomplete, or inconsistent master data.\nSupport investigation and correction of identified master data issues.\nIdentify opportunities to automate, simplify, standardize, and improve master data processes and ways of working.\nContribute ideas and operational expertise to continuous improvement within the Master Data Management organization.\nAdditional responsibilities may include\nSupport Supply Chain projects and business initiatives requiring master data creation, changes, extensions, or validation.\nSupport Material Master Data change-control activities, including approvals, execution, documentation, and follow-up.\nMonitor relevant data reports and activities to help ensure records remain appropriately synchronized.\nSupport testing and introduction of new or enhanced technology capabilities within Master Data Management.\nWhat should you have\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Data Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.\n2-3 years of experience in master data management, data stewardship, SAP master data, Supply Chain, or related operational roles.\nPrimary skills (must-have)\nStrong practical knowledge of SAP master data processes, preferably SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4.\nStrong hands-on experience in master data creation, maintenance, extension, and change activities.\nGood understanding of Material Master Data and its role within Manufacturing and Supply Chain processes.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to execute complex data activities accurately and consistently.\nHighly organized, with the ability to manage multiple requests, priorities, and deadlines.\nProactive and solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to understand master data dependencies and the downstream impact of data changes.\nStrong stakeholder collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed environment.\nStrong written and verbal English communication skills.\nGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.\nUnderstanding of GxP principles and controlled working practices.\nSecondary skills (nice to have)\nExperience within the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or another regulated industry.\nExperience supporting Manufacturing and Supply Chain master data processes.\nExperience with DSP, Syniti, or similar master data tools.\nExperience supporting Supply Chain projects, product introductions, or network changes.\nFamiliarity with master data governance and stewardship operating models.\nExperience with data validation, reconciliation, or synchronization activities.\nWho we are:\nWe are known as well-known org Inc., Rahway, New Jersey, USA in the United States and Canada and our company everywhere else.
