We work in the local plant connected to our global manufacturing network to ensure the highest quality of raw materials, intermediates and finished products.\nThe Technician position is available at our Animal Health facility in Worthington, Minnesota. The Worthington facility is expanding operations to manufacture vaccines for large and companion animals. Leveraging an experienced and innovative team environment, the key technologies at the site are biologics production using fermentation and cell culture platforms and filling and freeze-drying.\nThis position will help with the preparation of intermediate components (media solutions, working seed stocks and bacterial antigens), and the downstream processing of the intermediate components.\nDuties include but are not limited to:\nPosition prepares media, operates fermentation vessels, and performs necessary cleaning/disinfecting of equipment and laboratories. \nPosition works in a clean, aseptic environment (cleanroom environment). \nWritten SOPs and Outlines of Production must be followed. \nPosition must comprehend and comply with cGMP guidelines and complete and review documentation for accuracy and completeness.\nThis will be a second shift position, Monday - Friday 1:00PM-09:30PM with weekend rotations after training and some overtime.\nEducation:\nHigh School diploma/GED required; Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree in Biology/Microbiology or related field preferred.\nRequired Qualifications and Skills:\nGood communication skills and ability to work well with others.\nProficient computer skills including Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.\nSuccessful completion of a Physical Abilities Test.\nPreferred Qualifications and Skills:\nWorking knowledge of cGMP.\nWorking knowledge of aseptic technique.\nWorking knowledge of fermentation and fermentation vessels.\n2+ years manufacturing work experience preferred.\nThe salary range for this role is: $44,700 - $70,500\nThis is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
