The Elkhorn facility is expanding operations to manufacture animal vaccines and biologics. Looking for talented individuals to join our Production teams using key technologies for cell culture, filling and packaging. Operation of assigned Filling and Freeze Drying of Finished Product and diluents in careful compliance with established operating procedures.\nKey Responsibilities\nEnsures quality product by knowing and maintaining company and Departmental standards and procedures. \nPerform sterile operations according to Standard Production Processes (SPPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), documentation practices must be performed in a concurrent, legible and consistent basis \nPrepare cell and viral cultures within flasks, roller bottles in large quantities (1000+ cultures per day), this process is labor intensive and requires ability to push and pull large tanks, open and close large amount of roller bottles, and lift trash bags up to 20+ times a day. \nSanitization or sterilization of designated areas and equipment, requiring work with cleaners and attention to small details while cleaning. \nTroubleshoot and perform adjustments of equipment as required. \nPerform SAP transactions (goods issuing/goods receipt), cycle count actives \nEnsure all assigned equipment and components are staged for assigned operation. \nProvide Leadership for Tier 1 process \nMaintain documentation and other duties as assigned. \nMaintain area including area 5S housekeeping management \nSterile processes are performed in small labs with other technicians at the same time. \nTechnicians will be required to wear full aseptic gown including hood, suite, boots, gloves, mask and googles. \nSome operations will be performed wearing a respirator which can reduce visibility. \nProvide leadership to area Technicians and inform area Lead and Manager as needed \nDaily review and audit of area batch record and process documentation \nEducation\nPreferred Associates degree or BS in a Science related field \nHigh School Diploma or equivalent. \nRequired Experience | Knowledge | Skills\nWork independently and as a Team member with Integrity | Precision | Accomplishment | Motivational Ambition | Respect | Inclusion. \nAbility to operate manufacturing equipment. \nStrong attention to detail and documentation skills. \nGeneral knowledge of reading, mathematics, using both U.S. customary and metric systems and computer skills. \nAbility to communicate and work in cooperation and train other employees in a manufacturing environment. \nSuccessful completion of a Physical Abilities Test. \nPreferred Experience and Skills\nOne years of relevant manufacturing experience and a basic understanding of manufacturing procedures, techniques, and equipment.\nMathematical aptitude.\nWorking knowledge of mechanics and the ability to troubleshoot line equipment. \nWorking knowledge of cGMP and inventory control concepts. \nAn understanding of aseptic techniques and procedures. \nThe salary range for this role is: $48,600 - $76,600\nThis is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
