In this hands-on, production-based role you will participate in the primary production fermentation process (CIP, SIP, Media Prep, cell counts). Your responsibilities will include operating fermentation systems, including cleaning and preparation, monitoring and analyzing fermentation data and making recommendations for changes. You will assist in data analysis and reporting related to fermentation output, maintain cleanliness and organization in fermentation areas, and ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and proper documentation. Additionally, you will prepare and maintain equipment and materials for fermentation processes and participate in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives.\nThis role will also include a weekend working rota of approx. 1 in 4 weekends with paid overtime available.\nWho You Are:\nBSc or above in Biotechnology or associated degree with cell culturing/fermentation experience.\nExperience of fermentation is highly desired.\nStrong communication and team working skills.\nAbility to be hands-on in a fast-paced production environment, this is not a lab/research role.\nKnowledge of cGMP standards in a regulated environment is desirable.\nAbility to work weekend shifts as assigned.\nWhat we offer: We are curious minds that come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
