External applicants must be eligible to work in the US. \nYour Role:\nSr. EHS Specialist provides Safety/Security/Environmental and Industrial (Occupational) Hygiene, assistance to site management in the prevention of occupational injuries and Near Miss incidents.This includes but is not limited to Injuries, illnesses, Near Miss’s, damage to company property and emissions to the environment.The Sr. EHS Specialist position possesses most technical skills of Safety Specialists/Engineers, Environmental Specialists/Engineers and Industrial (Occupational) Hygienists.This position is dedicated to single site support.\nSpecific Responsibilities Include:\nEnsure site personnel are competent in performing Risk Assessments and ensuring needed Risk Assessments are completed \nIdentify risk reduction methods and work with site management in implementing those methods \nConduct EHS related training \nConduct safety inspections and ensure site personnel are competent in performing safety inspections \nInteract routinely with site management, supervision, and personnel on EHS related matters \nPrepare EHS compliance related reports and correspondence, both internally and externally (regulatory bodies) \nPrepare for and ready to respond in the event of emergency \nAct as Site Security Officer and fulfill all necessary duties \nManage site spill/leak team and ensure regulatory compliance \nManage and facilitate all facility waste shipments in accordance with RCRA/DOT regulations \nEnsure site’s EHS Management System is in place and functioning effectively to include: \nPolicy, Planning, Objectives, Implementation and Operation \nHazard Identification, Risk Assessment & Control \nLegal and Other Requirements \nOperational Control, Structure and Responsibility \nTraining, Awareness and Competence \nConsultation and Communication \nDocumentation, Document and Data Control \nEmergency Preparedness, Response, Checking and Corrective Action \nPerformance Management and Monitoring \nAccidents, Incidents, Non-conformances, & Corrective & Preventive Action \nAudit, Records, Record Management and Management Review \nWho You Are\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in any discipline\n5+ years EHS experience \nPreferred Qualifications:\nCertified Safety Professional (Board of Certified Safety Professionals) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (American Board of Certified Industrial Hygienist) \n5 + years EHS related experience in the chemical, specialty chemical and/or pharmaceutical industry \n5+ Distribution EHS related experience \n3+ Years Process Safety Management (PSM)experience \nRCRA & DOT Certifications \nBachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health (OSEH), Industrial Hygiene, or a related scientific/technical field.\nPay Range for this position: $67,700 - $139,700\nThe offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
