This position allows you to travel and meet new people while at the same time working on world class specialty gas and chemical deliveries systems, manufactured in our corporate factories.\nAs a Field Service Technician, you will be working at customer locations across the U.S. and possibly some international locations. Basic job duties include installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of GasGuard, ChemGuard, and Poly Flow delivery systems and associated support systems including Pumps, distribution piping, and exhaust systems.\nResponsibilities include:\nPreform pre-task planning and equipment condition analysis prior to starting any work\nEmpowered to Stop the Job and escalate\nResponsible for completion of customer requested tasks\nAudit equipment and maintenance areas according to quality and safety standards\nEnsure processes and procedures are followed\nReport quality and safety issues immediately via the escalation process\nTakes ownership of NCE events and the RMA process to address equipment concerns in a timely manner\nComplete all Field documentation accurately and submit for invoicing at the completion of the task\nProvide solutions to the customer for equipment configuration, maintenance, and operation\nPhysical Attributes:\n80% of walking throughout the facility (5-6 miles per day)\nClimbing of ladders up to 12-foot-tall (utilizing fall protection)\nBasic lifting (up to 40lbs)\nBending of the knees and overhead reaching\nAble to recognize and respond to safety alarms\nBe capable of traveling 85% of the time\nMilitary Veterans: EMD Electronics is a military friendly employer that values the skills obtained through military teamwork. Veterans from any branch or MOS with hands-on mechanical skill sets are encouraged to apply.\nWho You Are:\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n1+ years' experience as a Megasys Technician Level III or other Industrial / Semiconductor experience\n1+ years' experience with Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) \nValid US Passport\nValid Driver’s License with no infractions over the past 36 months\nPreferred Qualifications:\nComputer skills\n5+ years of experience working in or at Semiconductor fabs\nStrong mechanical and electrical skills (including Low voltage and signal wiring (AC/DC))\nDemonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\nTeam-focused and collaborative demeanor\nWilling to work alone or with a team\nReliable and self-motivated\nCommitted to Safe and Quality work environment\nPay Range for this position: $30-$50/hour\nThe offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
