External applicants must be eligible to work in the US.\nYour role:\nThe Manufacturing Operator 2 at MilliporeSigma in Bellefonte PA will:\nPrepare, pack and process products used in assigned work area\nFollow written instructions per MPS/SOP/ISO guidelines\nEngage in product manufacturing across various areas\nMonitor processes and identify opportunities for improvement\nDesign and conduct simple experiments to enhance yield, product quality, and develop new product\nAssist R&D in manufacturing of new products\nPackage and label all products according to instructions\nTest products in assigned work area\nPrepare samples for quality control upon request\nCompletes in-process inspections\nMaintains QC experimental records\nOperate and maintain all necessary lab equipment\nResponsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment\nMaintain raw material inventory and request supplies as needed\nPerform maintenance and cleaning of the work area and lab equipment\nPhysical Requirements:\nVision and hearing within normal limits\nAbility to move materials weighing up to 50 pounds\nMay require repetitive hand and arm movements, as well as standing or sitting for extended periods\nHandle chemicals safely while using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)\nManually dexterous for various tasks\nAbility to stand, sit, stoop, lift, and climb ladders.\nWho you are:\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nPreferred Qualifications:\nStrong communication and organizational skills\n1+ years with automated manufacturing equipment and in an industrial setting\nHigh attention to detail\nProficient with computers\nAbility to work independently\nCapable of writing legibly\nBasic math skills\nPrior experience operating/maintaining labeling, packaging, and lab equipment (e.g., balances, labelers, vacuum pumps, ovens, evaporators, glove boxes)\nRSREMD\nPay Range for this position: $20.00 - $32.00.\nThe offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
