This role ensures meaningful community benefit and that client requirements are embedded from tender stage through to project completion.\nIn addition, the role supports employee engagement, health and wellbeing initiatives, social committee activities, and training programmes across the Business Unit.\nKey Responsibilities of the Role:\nImplement and monitor Social Value Plans aligned with TOMs, PPN 06/20 and client requirements\nTrack KPIs including employment, apprenticeships, MSME/VCSE engagement, volunteering, diversity and local spend\nPrepare and submit monthly social value reports to client and internal platforms\nAct as the primary point of contact for community queries\nCoordinate community events, site visits, volunteering initiatives and open days\nMaintain and distribute the monthly Community Engagement Tracker\nSupport procurement teams in social value compliance requirements\nPromote local and diverse supply chain participation\nMaintain auditable social value records across the supply chain\nCoordinate Business Unit health and wellbeing initiatives\nPromote mental health, wellbeing and work-life balance programmes\nTrack participation and engagement metrics\nCoordinate and support Business Unit and project social events\nPromote inclusive engagement initiatives aligned with company values\nSupport apprenticeship, graduate and early careers programmes\nCoordinate training schedules, attendance and reporting\nMaintain accurate and auditable records\nSupport tender submissions when required\nCarry out ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Operations Manager and BU Lead\nEssential Criteria for the Role:\nExperience in social value, community engagement, CSR, or a related field\nStrong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives\nExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills\nAbility to track, analyse, and report data accurately (KPIs, metrics, reporting tools)\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\nAbility to work collaboratively across teams and with external stakeholders\nStrong attention to detail and record-keeping capability\nDesirable Criteria:\nKnowledge of TOMs (Themes, Outcomes and Measures) and PPN 06/20\nExperience working within construction, engineering, or infrastructure sectors\nFamiliarity with social value reporting platforms and frameworks\nExperience coordinating training programmes or early careers initiatives\nInterest in health & wellbeing, diversity & inclusion, or community development initiatives\nMercury is an equal opportunities employer.\nCoördinator maatschappelijke waarde\nMercury is de Europese leider in bouwoplossingen.\n\nWij bouwen en beheren complexe engineering- en bouwprojecten voor 's werelds toonaangevende bedrijven. Deze rol waarborgt een wezenlijk maatschappelijk voordeel en zorgt ervoor dat de wensen van de klant vanaf de aanbestedingsfase tot aan de voltooiing van het project worden meegenomen.\nDaarnaast ondersteunt de functie initiatieven op het gebied van medewerkersbetrokkenheid, gezondheid en welzijn, activiteiten van de sociale commissie en trainingsprogramma's binnen de gehele business
