{"id":2119907,"url":"https://alion.io/job/mercury-gse-technician-iii","title":"Technician III","company":{"id":2456541,"name":"Mercury GSE","domain":"mercurygse.com","url":"https://alion.io/company/mercurygse","size_band":null,"is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"Paylocity","truth_index":null},"role":"Field & Service","role_family":"Field & Service","seniority":"middle","employment_type":null,"work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Saginaw, United States"],"countries":["US"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":{"min_usd":50000,"max_usd":89000,"period":"year","method":"role_seniority_country_remote_cell","sample_n":4938},"experience_years_min":5,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-03-10T21:19:26Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-10-08","last_verified_at":"2026-11-04T15:12:51Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":238,"trust":{"level":"stale","repost_count":0,"flags":["stale"],"days_open":238},"description":"Description\nJOB SUMMARY\nThe Technician III performs technical troubleshooting, diagnostics and repairs to the Company’s fleet of ground support equipment and stationary equipment such as loading bridges, stationary air conditioning units, baggage conveyor systems, ground power units, and other equipment in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.\n ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nPerform a necessary sequence of operations to troubleshoot, disassemble, clean, check, repair, rework, replace, fabricate, assemble, install, and adjust ground support equipment, machinery, accessories, parts, etc. and explain the work procedures to personnel assigned to aid in that work.\nRequires frequent overnight travel (up to 50%).\nPossess full knowledge of primary and sub systems.\nCapable of diagnosing and repairing powertrain assemblies and sub assemblies and subcomponents.\nUtilize diagnostic tools to test, analyze, and collect data for repairs and equipment calibration.\nProficient in the use of diagnostic software and able to read, delete, and regenerate utilizing diagnostic software.\nAble to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.\nSkilled at troubleshooting (schematics/flowcharts) repairs and adjust hydraulic systems and components. \nAble to diagnose and repair powertrain assemblies.\nDiagnose and repair/replace air conditioning systems and components (compressor evaporator, condenser, etc.)\nPerform quality control checks on completed maintenance and repairs.\nAble to safely and legally operate a motor vehicle.\nComplete forms connected with work assignments according to established procedures.\nEnsure tools and equipment are maintained in an effective, safe working condition.\nReport any safety violation, machining equipment misusage, and/or improperly performed work to supervisor or lead.\nResponsible for following the rules and regulations set forth by federal, local, and state government and Mercury GSE.\nKeep work area clean and free of any safety hazards.\nPerform other related duties as assigned or requested.
