This position evaluates business requirements to develop robust networking solutions, conducts comprehensive project planning, and performs cost analysis and vendor comparisons. The role also involves managing infrastructure to ensure high availability, recoverability, performance, and integrity through both maintenance of existing systems and implementation of network enhancements.\nRequired Qualification(s):\nEducation: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.\nExperience: Relevant technical or business work experience. Extensive experience with complex technical environments, including Cisco networking, LAN/WAN, wireless technologies, VoIP, and advanced routing protocols.\nTechnical Skills (Highly Preferred):\nProficiency in:\nNetwork automation with tools like Python, Ansible, REST API, or Postman.\nMonitoring and telemetry in ACI (e.g., Cisco NAE, SNMP, NetFlow, or Syslog).\nChange control, patching, and lifecycle management of Cisco ACI environments.\n\nStrong understanding of:\nLayer 2/3 network protocols (BGP, OSPF, STP, HSRP, etc.)\nSecurity zones, segmentation, and microsegmentation using ACI contracts.\n\nFamiliarity with tools such as:\nCisco DNA Center, Secure Workload (Tetration), or other Cisco DC solutions.\n\nSoft Skills & Competencies:\nAbility to independently troubleshoot complex ACI-related network issues and work cross-functionally with other IT teams.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting designs, policies, and procedures.\nStrong attention to detail and an analytical mindset for problem-solving in high-availability environments.\nExperience working in regulated or healthcare environments (preferred).\nAdvanced certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.\n\nEEO/AA/Minorities/Females/Disabled/Veterans\nWhy Mercy?\nFrom day one, Mercy offers outstanding benefits - including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, tuition support, and matched retirement plans for team members working 32+ hours per pay period.\nJoin a caring, collaborative team where your voice matters.
