As Project Manager within our IT Applications team, you will use your program delivery, leadership and stakeholder management skills to help achieve even more for all who need us.\nYou will lead the delivery of a program of IT application and integration work across Mercy Health, managing multiple concurrent projects with a hands-on approach. Reporting to the Head of Applications, you will work closely with the IT Leadership team, business stakeholders and external vendors to deliver outcomes on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.\nYour program will span the Mercy Health Application Roadmap as well as broader strategic, enterprise and cross-functional IT initiatives aligned to the Digital Strategy 2023 to 2027. You will lead and direct project teams of internal staff, contractors and vendors, manage program budgets and vendor engagements, and embed consistent project and program management practice across the function. This role offers the opportunity to help shape how project delivery grows within IT Applications.\nWhat you’ll bring\nIt takes a special kind of person to work in healthcare or community services. If you are genuinely interested in helping others, then you’ll find you can build something here and find your place in a team of 10,000 hearts.\nTo thrive in this role, you will have:\nAt least 5 years of experience in IT project and program management in a large, complex enterprise environment, across the full project lifecycle.\nDemonstrated experience delivering a program of work and managing multiple concurrent projects with a hands-on approach.\nExperience leading and directing project teams, including internal staff, contractors and vendor resources.\nStrong budget and vendor management skills, including statements of work and deliverable acceptance.\nExperience with waterfall, agile and hybrid delivery methods.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder skills, including presenting to executive and non-technical audiences.\nExperience in healthcare, aged care or a similarly regulated environment is desirable.\nYou will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:\nA degree in Information Systems, Business, Project Management or a related field, or equivalent experience\nPMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification (MSP is desirable)\nA current Victorian driver licence\nA current Police Record Check\nReady to help us shape the future of healthcare?\nJoin us and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives - and your career.\nAre you ready to apply for this role?
