The right person will be a key player in driving new data and services strategies when it comes to infrastructure and AWS decisions for Merge, as well as being critical to delivering on re-architecture strategy as we scale the company.\nWhat will you be doing?\nWith reliability and scalability in mind, work with the rest of the engineering team to produce highly performant architectures that extend to some of our largest customers, reading and writing millions of rows per second across numerous databases, workers, and services\n\nParticipate in roadmapping, architecture, and planning discussions\n\nProduce high-quality, production-ready, maintainable infrastructure as code\n\nLead large projects from initial inception to production\n\nRun production systems at scale\n\nParticipate in on-call rotation and infrastructure maintenance\n\nWhat experience is required?\n4+ years of full-time DevOps experience\n\nDeep experience with AWS/GCP cloud infrastructure, Terraform, and Kubernetes\n\nAbility to own the planning and deployment of highly scalable systems\n\nFamiliarity with some or all of the following technologies: AWS Aurora, Redshift, Kinesis, EC2, EKS, ECS, Redis, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Grafana, VictoriaMetrics\n\nCompensation\nThe cash compensation range for this role is $155,000-$185,000.\n\nActual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications.
