You’ll guide a high-impact team through fast-moving problem spaces, partnering closely with product, design, and go-to-market to turn cutting-edge AI into real customer and business value.\nWhat you will do:\nLead and foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and technical rigor\n\nDefine and execute the roadmap for AI-driven products and internal tooling to improve integration development, monitoring, and automation\n\nCollaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to build intelligent, user-facing tools that differentiate Merge’s platform\n\nEnsure AI models and systems are deployed with scalability, performance, and security in mind\n\nThe Ideal candidate will have:\n1+ years leading engineers and technical projects, with previous 7 - 10+ years of IC experience in software or ML/AI systems\n\nStrong track record of leading teams building AI-powered products, ML platforms, or data-intensive applications\n\nFamiliarity with technologies and frameworks such as Python, Django, React, Postgres, AWS, and ML/AI libraries\n\nProduct-minded engineering leader who can balance research/experimentation with shipping high-impact features\n\nStrong collaborator able to align AI-driven initiatives with broader company and customer goals\n\nCompensation\nThe cash compensation range for this role is $200,000-$245,000\n\nActual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications.
