The candidate will be responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and automation systems used in manufacturing machinery. Key Responsibilities 1. PLC understanding & Industrial Automation\nConfigure, and troubleshoot PLCs used in machinery.\nWork with PLC platforms such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, Delta, Omron, or equivalent.\nDevelop and modify PLC logic, interlocks, timers, counters, and sequencing operations.\nTroubleshoot PLC inputs/outputs, communication errors, and machine control faults.\nWork with HMI systems for machine operation, monitoring, and fault diagnosis.\nSupport automation upgrades and process improvement projects. 2. Sensors & Instrumentation\nInstall, configure, and troubleshoot industrial sensors, including: o Proximity sensors (inductive and capacitive) o Photoelectric sensors o Limit switches and position sensors o Pressure, temperature, and level sensors o Encoders and other feedback devices\nUnderstand sensor wiring, signal types, and PLC input/output interfacing.\nCalibrate and test sensors to ensure reliable machine operation. 3. Machine Maintenance & Troubleshooting\nDiagnose and resolve electrical and automation faults in production machines.\nPerform preventive and breakdown maintenance.\nTroubleshoot motors, drives, control circuits, sensors, and PLC-controlled systems.\nMinimize machine downtime and ensure maximum equipment availability.\nMaintain maintenance logs and records of breakdowns and corrective actions.\nReporting To: Maintenance Manager / Plant Head Salary: As per experience and technical competency\nRequirements\nRequired Skills\nHands-on experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting.\nGood knowledge of industrial sensors and electrical control systems.\nExperience with electrical panels, wiring diagrams, relays, contactors, and motor controls.\nWorking knowledge of VFDs, servo drives, and HMI systems.\nAbility to diagnose electrical faults and resolve machine breakdowns.\nKnowledge of industrial electrical safety and preventive maintenance.\nGood problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Experience\nExperience in manufacturing industries and automated production machinery.\nKnowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.\nExperience in machine installation, commissioning, and automation retrofitting.\nKnowledge of safety relays, emergency-stop circuits, and machine interlocks.
