The successful candidate will oversee a well established multidisciplinary group of engineers, designers and technicians. This individual reports to the Engineering Director and will be responsible for the relationship with TVA. The position requires a strong technical background in substation engineering along with a proven managerial track record.\nCandidate will be responsible for P&L of client project work, communication, process creation, team management, and is ultimately responsible for ensuring the successful execution of all project work.\nThe role will be a hybrid allowable role based out of the Chattanooga, TN or Knoxville, TN office.\nRequirements:\nPMP certification is required; a PE license is preferred.\n4-year ABET-accredited engineering degree preferred.\nAbility to identify, analyze, and solve difficult technical and management problems related to complex engineering projects.\nPossess aptitude for engineering and design, as well as proposal preparation, estimating, accounting, and scheduling.\nStrong organizational and process workflow management skills. Adept at modifying and adapting processes and workflows to accomplish team goals efficiently.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nExcellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and work effectively in a team environment - both internally and externally.\nStrong working knowledge of computers and software such as AutoCAD, Vault, and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
