For any concerns, or to verify the authenticity of a message, please contact us through our official channels.\nSummary\nManages the planning, estimating, permitting, schedule, budget, risk analysis, material procurement, agreements related to the project, prepares projects for bid process and assists with contractor selection, monitors field construction, and in-service facilitation and project close-out.\nCollaborates and strategizes with peers within the company and in industry to ensure cost effective project management that heightens the customer experience. Communicates both written and verbally with peers and leadership to provide updates and concerns.\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:\nEnsures effective scope, schedule, and cost baselines and drives change management to measure progress against plans and identifies when corrective actions are needed.\nWorks with stakeholders to provide safe, efficient, quality construction that complies with policies, practices, procedures, and standards.\nCollaborates with stakeholders, including project managers, construction managers, engineers, environmental, supply chain, and other project stakeholders, to ensure accountability.\nLeads projects that are driven to exceed customer expectations and meet all established project requirements. \nPromotes relationships with external municipalities and local authorities having jurisdiction.\nUnderstands and manages project contracts.\nEnsures timely and accurate schedule updates and invoicing.\nEffective team relationships throughout field and office \nProject success is based on the ability to complete all projects in a safe, reliable, efficient manner, within the authorized budget, on time and with no significant environmental/regulatory notices, violations, or citations. \nMonitors and communicates progress of projects related to baselined schedule/milestones, forecasted/approved spends, project status updates, material management, and land services requirements.\nConstant monitoring, evaluation, and leading discussion to mitigate project risks\nEducation:\nBachelors or equivalent experience in Civil Engineering or related field such as architecture, engineering, or construction is preferred.\nLicenses & Certifications:\nRequired\nProject Mgmt Prof (PMP)\nDesired\nRegistration as a Civil Engineer by the State of California\nBenefits:\nPaid Time Off\nHoliday Pay - 10 Annually\nGroup Medical/Dental Insurance\nLife Insurance (Company Paid)\nDisability Insurance (Company Paid)\n401(K) Retirement Savings Plan\n401(K) Matching Contribution\nSection 125 / Cafeteria Plan\nLong Term Care Insurance\nTuition Reimbursement\nFitness Center Reimbursement\nAnnual Performance Bonus\n9/80 Work Schedule\nANNUAL SALARY RANGE:\n$97,713 - $136,569\nThe expected compensation is a range determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, and qualifications of the candidate, internal equity, work location, and hiring department’s fiscal resources.\nNotice to External Search Firms: Mesa Associates, Inc. and its subsidiaries do not accept unsolicited resumes and will not be obligated to pay a placement fee for unsolicited resumes.
