This position reports directly to the Senior Project Scheduler and works closely with client project execution teams and internal Mesa stakeholders to support the successful delivery of power delivery and substation design projects.\nThe Project Scheduler plays a critical role in developing, maintaining, and communicating project schedules to ensure alignment between Mesa, our clients, and all project stakeholders. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.\nWhy Mesa?\nMesa’s Project Management Organization (PMO) is known for delivering high-quality project support, improving performance, and driving measurable results for utility clients through strong processes, tools, and collaboration.\nAt Mesa, you’ll be part of a team that is large enough to perform and small enough to care, where your contributions directly impact critical infrastructure projects across the country.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop, maintain, and monitor project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6 in accordance with client requirements and Mesa standards\nCoordinate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure accurate schedule updates and alignment with project deliverables\nAssign resources and establish design target dates within client systems\nTrack new project intake and manage updates to existing projects, ensuring timely communication to stakeholders\nPrepare and distribute schedule updates, lookahead reports, and performance metrics to clients and internal teams\nFacilitate and/or attend internal and external meetings to review project status, risks, and schedule impacts\nIdentify, analyze, and communicate schedule risks, delays, and opportunities for improvement\nSupport project managers in monitoring schedule performance, including critical path analysis and variance identification\nMaintain documentation for baseline schedules, revisions, and change approvals\nIdentify risks to required project timeline\nPromote consistency in scheduling practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the PSO\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nAdvanced proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 (industry standard); Microsoft Project proficiency is not a substitute but may be used at times.\nStrong understanding of scheduling principles, including Critical Path Method (CPM)\nAbility to gather, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources into actionable schedules\nDemonstrated organizational expertise and efficiency in managing competing priorities across various teams and projects\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with clients and cross-functional teams\nStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for reporting and analysis\nAbility to interpret client scheduling requirements and utility standards\nCapacity to learn new software and systems quickly\nSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team environment\nCommitment to safety and compliance with Mesa safety standards\nWork Environment & Requirements\nWillingness to attend meetings at substation sites and client facilities, including occasional travel up to 10-15% to client locations\nCommitment to following all Mesa and client safety protocols\nAbility to work effectively with remote and distributed teams\nCandidate must be within 1 hour of Knoxville, TN\nAdditional Requirements\nWillingness to travel to client sites as needed to support project alignment and execution\nU.S. Citizenship is required (per 10 C.F.R.
