The Project Scheduler plays a key role in developing, maintaining, and communicating project schedules to ensure accuracy, transparency, and alignment between Mesa’s clients and their stakeholders.\nWhat We’re Looking for\nCompetent in Microsoft Project and / or Primavera P6\nFamiliarity with power utility generation, substation, communication and line design projects and related engineering lifecycles is preferred.\nUnderstanding of project controls, scheduling, prioritizing and critical path method (CPM).\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with engineers, project managers, and clients.\nStrong analytical and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and team action items both internal and external efficiently.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.\nAbility to interpret and apply written schedule criteria from utility clients in comparison with scope of work documents. \nWillingness to travel for client site visits, meetings, and conferences as required. \nWhat You’ll Do\nDevelop, maintain, and monitor project schedules in Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6 in accordance with client requirements and internal Mesa standards.\nConduct client site visits especially during project forming phases to align expectations, review schedule progress, and gather updates.\nUpdate project schedules regularly, ensuring alignment between engineering deliverables, client milestones, and program objectives.\nGenerate and present weekly “lookahead” reports summarizing progress, upcoming tasks, and schedule performance.\nCoordinate with stakeholders to assess schedule impacts and resource needs.\nTrack new projects and ongoing changes, ensuring updates are communicated timely to clients and other stakeholders.\nFacilitate internal and external meetings, as needed, to review project status, discuss risks, and implement schedule adjustments as needed.\nSupport project managers in controlling schedule performance, analyzing variances, and identifying potential bottlenecks\nPrepare and distribute key performance indicators (KPIs), earned value insights, and trend analyses to leadership and clients.\nMaintain documentation for baseline schedules, revisions, and change approvals.\nPromote consistency in scheduling practices and contribute to process improvement initiatives.\nDemonstrate professionalism, ownership, and adaptability while managing multiple projects at varying stages of design and execution.\nWhat You’ll Earn\nPaid Time Off\nHoliday Pay - 10 Days Annually\nGroup Medical/Dental Insurance\nLife Insurance (Company Paid)\nDisability Insurance (Company Paid)\n401(K) Retirement Savings plan\n401(K) Matching Contribution\nSection 125/Cafeteria Plan\nLong Term Care Insurance\nTuition Reimbursement\nFitness Center Reimbursement\nAnnual Performance Bonus\n9/80 Work Schedule Option\nFSA and HSA Options\nNotice to External Search Firms: Mesa Associates, Inc. and its subsidiaries do not accept unsolicited resumes and will not be obligated to pay a placement fee for unsolicited resumes.
