Don’t delay, plug in today for an inclusive meaningful career in power, distribution, transmission, engineering, design, technology, or innovation at Mesa Associates, Inc.\nMesa Associates, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer to work with other members of the civil & structural team to deliver projects of varying complexity and size for our fossil and hydropower generating clients.\nWorking in a team environment, daily tasks will include the design of additions and modifications to power generation related structural systems including:\nStructural calculations - developing design criteria and performing structural calculations to ensure adequate design capacity using various software packages (STAAD.Pro, STAAD Foundation, RAM Connection, spMats, spColumn, LPILE, SOLIDWORKS, Inventor, Mathcad, Excel, ENERCALC).\nConcrete foundation design - rotating equipment, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, etc.\nConcrete anchorage design - cast-in-place & post-installed.\nStructural steel design - pipe bridges, pipe and cable tray supports, equipment support structures, elevated platforms, steel buildings, etc.\nDrawing package preparation - AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, Plant 3D.\nSuccessful candidates will be:\nWell organized and self-motivated to complete tasks within agreed schedules.\nCreative thinkers with the ability to judge between alternate solutions to provide the optimal solution.\nAvailable to work overtime as necessary to meet project schedules and commitments.\nAvailable to travel out of town for project meetings and site visits.\nSafety consciousness and will strictly adhere to company and client safety standards.\nNotice to External Search Firms: Mesa Associates, Inc. and its subsidiaries do not accept unsolicited resumes and will not be obligated to pay a placement fee for unsolicited resumes.
