The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining ETL processes to ensure data integrity and availability. You will work closely with data analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide expertise in many technological areas pertaining to database technologies.\nSpecialize in database topical areas such as logical database design and database development using Microsoft/Opensource technologies.\nParticipate in defining and promoting best practices relating to database development to the organization.\nWork concurrently on several product development projects with development engineers to review and recommend possible optimizations to database design and development code.\nPerform analysis and reviews on complex applications being released into production.\nProvide input and execute on efforts to improve the efficiency and quality of our development projects.\nInvestigate and analyze reported defects in a timely manner, and recommend solutions to these problems including code changes, data updates, or configuration modifications. \nRequired Skills & Competencies\nMinimum Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.\nMust have 2 to above years of database related experience.\nDesigned large-scale data models and relational database architecture.\nExperienced working with MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 and other popular relational databases.\nExperienced in SQL coding and the design and implementation of stored procedures.\nExperienced with DTS/SSIS or popular ETL tools. \nExperienced with data design and modelling tools such as Power Designer.\nExperienced with indexes and query tuning.\nPossesses a solid understanding of distributed application and web application development relating to database technologies within a high-end environment.\nUnderstands multiple SDLC concepts, including waterfall and agile.\nAble to handle several projects simultaneously.\nAble to work independently and in a team environment.\nJoin our team and lead impactful application projects that drive business transformation and operational
