This role will be responsible for operating, automating, securing, and continuously improving our AWS cloud infrastructure supporting both traditional SaaS workloads and emerging AI-powered products.\nThe ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, automation, CI/CD, PostgreSQL/Aurora, Linux, security, and observability, along with an interest in supporting modern AI/LLM platforms, AI agents, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) services.\nThe successful candidate should be comfortable taking ownership of production systems, troubleshooting complex infrastructure and application issues, and continuously improving reliability, security, automation, performance, and cost efficiency.\nKey Responsibilities\nCloud Infrastructure & DevOps\nSupport day-to-day AWS Cloud Operations and DevOps activities while continuously improving operational standards and best practices.\nDesign, provision, maintain, and optimize highly available and scalable infrastructure within AWS.\nBuild and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible.\nDevelop and maintain automated infrastructure provisioning, deployment, configuration, upgrade, backup, and recovery workflows.\nSupport containerized and microservices-based environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon EKS.\nManage Kubernetes deployments, cluster configuration, scaling, upgrades, monitoring, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management.\nBuild, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and Git-based deployment workflows.\nOwn the operational lifecycle of infrastructure supporting the company's AI-powered products and services, including provisioning, deployment, scaling, monitoring, troubleshooting, security, and cost optimization.\nDeploy, administer, monitor, and secure Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers supporting multiple internal teams and AI use cases.\nManage MCP integrations, authentication, granular access permissions, secrets, database connectivity, and external service integrations in accordance with security and data privacy requirements.\nRequired Qualifications & Skills\n3-5 years of hands-on experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in production environments.\nStrong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, and Docker in Linux environments.\nStrong experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.\nExperience designing and supporting automated infrastructure provisioning and deployment pipelines.\nExperience with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.\nPractical understanding of AWS networking, security architecture, IAM, encryption, secrets management, and vulnerability management.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.\nPreferred Certifications\nOne or more relevant industry certifications would be an asset, including:\nAWS certifications\nCertified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or related Kubernetes certification\nDocker/container certifications\nCloud security certifications\nProfessional Attributes\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong ownership and sense of responsibility for production systems.\nStrong technical documentation skills.\nAble to evaluate new technologies pragmatically rather than adopting technology for its own sake.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nShould be able to manage on call schedule and outside business hours deployments.\nWorkplace:\nThis remote position is open to candidates residing in the United States who are legally authorized to work in the U.S.\nCandidates must be available to work during Pacific Time business hours.\nMessagepoint is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.\nWe thank all applicants for their interest;
