Digital & Indirect Channel Manager - Energy Retail

MET Retail is a new chapter for the group: bringing energy directly to households. We're building a technology-driven retail platform for power and gas, with a digital, customer-first model. Essential responsibilities

• Own all digital and intermediated acquisition channels - comparators, brokers, AI assistants and digital partner platforms - from first contact to live performance management.
• Negotiate directly with comparator and broker partners: onboarding, terms, media placements, renewals, and the clawback and quality conditions that protect MET's economics.
• Build, from zero, the commercial side of AI-mediated discovery: structured data feeds, and agent/assistant partnerships that keep MET's offers accurate, current and actionable wherever an AI does the comparing.
• Design the partner economics across all channels so quality and payouts stay under control as the portfolio scales.
• Own channel quality assurance: cohort churn monitoring by partner, concentration-risk limits, partner cut-off decisions.
• Report channel economics to Growth: CAC by channel, indirect and AI-mediated share of gross adds, early churn versus direct, concentration ratio.
• Coordinate AEO/GEO content strategy with Growth marketing and technical integrations with Platform.

• 5-8 years in channel or partner sales in Spanish B2C from energy sector; telco and insurance background can be also considered
• A real, personal track record in the Spanish comparator and broker landscape - deals negotiated, terms pushed back on, partners cut and why. Has negotiated directly with at least one Spanish comparator (Selectra, Kelisto, Rastreator or equivalent)
• Commercially tough: comfortable enforcing clawbacks and concentration limits with partners who are also revenue sources
• Experience with structured data partnerships, API/interoperability agreements or agent-mediated commerce (MCP, offer-schema structuring for LLM crawlers) are highly appreciated
• Fluent Spanish and English
