This team has the responsibility for making breakthroughs and delivering them to market at scale.Meta Reality Labs (RL) seeks a Materials Engineer - Surface Finishing, Coating (SUN) - Ph.D. Intern with the ability to bring new materials to consumer products at scale. We are looking for slightly impatient individuals willing to face down their fear of failure to accomplish bold things.\nResponsibilities\nDefine and execute testing and evaluation of material surface and coatings to determine performance and drive material selection of RL products. Identify and develop new novel finishing and coating to enable technology and manufacturing process solutions to be integrated in RL products.
